Ryan Howard reached into the stands, stuck his glove into a cluster of fans and caught a foul pop for a key out. Yes, Tropicana Field was filled with World Series rookies on and off the field. The glamorous teams all eliminated, the Philadelphia Phillies and Tampa Bay Rays opened a most unexpected World Series on Wednesday night. Cole Hamels escaped trouble to win his fourth postseason start, Chase Utley hit a two-run homer in the first inning and the Phillies beat the Tampa Bay Rays 3-2. FULL STORY
1st game was a banger, both teams were feeling each other out. I wouldn't be surprised to see this go 7. Its going to be a battle, one not worth missing thats for sure.

Ive been a fan of Mr. Winslow since Miami and his Hurricane days, I think he just needs to focus on football and understand that with the glitz and the glamour you have to eat alot of humble pie and do and say all the right things even if you don't agree. Its a business and business always trumps. Its the Ace of Spade they didn't ask you for your opinion.

The Browns suspended Winslow for one game without pay following his comments after Sunday's 14-11 loss to the Washington Redskins. Tony Romo wanted to play in the Cowboys' loss to the Rams last Sunday, but his broken pinkie wasn't ready. It appears it won't allow him to play for at least another week as well.

Lakers' ridiculous slam dunk
Too easy. Just a sample of whats going to happen all season haters. And this is just our bench. Championship here we come. Oh and all I want for Chrismas is a Lakers-Celtics Finals. We don't believe they can beat us twice. Try us if you want!
